A native Chicagoan, Brad fell in love with the theater while attending Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Florida. Upon graduating, he returned to the Windy City and started working as a stage manager and light board operator with the Chicago Theater Company, and the Drury Lane Theater in Evergreen Park. Before long, he was taking acting classes, doing shows, and writing screenplays.
He earned his MFA in acting from the DePaul Theater School, before attending Second City Improv and Musical Improv conservatories. He's had the privilege of working with a gang of cool theaters including The Goodman, Steppenwolf, InGen Productions, Griffin Theater, and The Oracle. He appeared in Chicago P.D. and received a non-equity Jeff nomination (Best Actor) for his role as Lucius in the Raven Theater's production of Jesus Hopped The "A" Trian. In 2002, he co-founded Land of Misery Films with his partner in crime, Stacey Carpenter, and is crazy excited about shooting their first feature film, "We Woke".
