Was founded in 1998 with one
objective in mind; the creation of
entertaining films that people can enjoy
for years to come. Our name is inspired
by the challenges of being a person of
color in America, which at times can be
a miserable experience. Yet, the human
spirit has an incredible ability to endure
and out of great difficulty emerges great
strength. Misery has been the breeding
ground for Jazz, Blues, Gospel, Hip Hop,
and an endless number of artist and
athletes who have survived and thrived
in the face of tremendous odds. In the
end, Land of Misery is not a state of
despair, but one of great Hope and
endless Possibilities.
